(MYFOX NATIONAL) - An Indonesian woman has given birth to a 19-pound baby, the heaviest recorded in the country.

According to AFP, the baby boy born via Caesarian section on Monday measured 24.4 inches.

"This heavy baby made the surgery really tough, especially the process of taking him out of his mum's womb. His legs were so big," said Dr. Binsar Sitanggang who took part in the operation.

The boy is in good condition and reportedly has a healthy appetite. Sitanggang said he's been feeding non-stop.

Doctors said the boy's size likely had to do with his 41-year-old mother, Ani, having diabetes. Because of her high glucose levels, the baby likely received too much glucose and grew too large.

While this newborn doesn't have any weight problems, another baby in Britain was put on a 3,000-calorie diet in May after she was born three months prematurely, weighing in at 3 pounds, 11 ounces. The 3,000 calories Agatha Holloway eats each day is the equivalent of what a lumberjack eats.
